Pet Heist: sneak in, steal a pet, build your vault
Pet Heist is a free stealth heist game for Android phones and the web browser. You sneak into a vault, slip past guard dogs, cameras and laser beams, pick the lock and get out with a pet. Then you build your own trap vault, and other players try to rob it while you are away.
What kind of game is Pet Heist?
It is a short-session stealth game with a strategy half. Every raid takes a minute or two: you start at the door of a vault seen from above, and you need to reach a pet on its pedestal without being spotted. Running is fast but noisy. Sneaking is slow but silent. Guards patrol fixed routes, cameras sweep their cones back and forth, lasers blink on and off, and pressure plates go off if you run over them. If the alarm rings you still have a short escape timer to grab what you can and reach the exit.
The other half happens at home. The pets you steal earn coins every hour while they sit on display in your vault, and anything on display can be stolen by someone else. So you draw walls, place doors and locks, add lasers, cameras and guards, and prove the vault can be beaten by clearing it yourself once. After that it goes live, and real players raid it. You can watch the replay of every raid on your vault and take revenge on the thief.

How to play
- Move. On a phone, drag anywhere on the left side of the screen. A small tilt of the stick makes your thief sneak. On a computer use WASD or the arrow keys and hold Space or Shift to sneak.
- Stay out of sight. Vision cones are drawn on the floor. Stay out of them, or use a gadget: the smoke bomb blinds cameras and dogs, and later you unlock a drill, a squeak toy, an EMP and more.
- Pick the lock. Doors and the vault have locks with three to five pins. Tap when the pin sits in the green zone. A miss makes noise.
- Grab and run. Take the coins and a pet, then head for the exit. A clean raid with no alarm earns all three stars.
- Build and defend. Back home, put your pets on pedestals, design your trap vault and run it once to publish it.
New players start with five short training vaults and then the story campaign. The full beginner's guide walks through the first hour step by step.
