Pet Heist tips and FAQ

Short, practical tips from how the game actually works, followed by answers to the questions new players ask most.

Raiding tips

  1. Sneak only where it matters. Sneaking is silent but less than half the speed of running. Run through empty corridors, sneak near guards and over pressure plates.
  2. Watch one full camera sweep before you move. Cones are drawn on the floor; once you know the rhythm, crossing is easy.
  3. Lasers flicker before they switch on. If you see the flicker, wait for the next gap.
  4. Plan the way out. A carried pet squeaks now and then, and dogs hear it. Clear the exit route on the way in.
  5. Do not spam the lock. Each missed pin makes a loud noise. Tap only when the pin is inside the green zone.
  6. An alarm is not a loss. You get 25 seconds to escape. Grab what is close and run.
  7. Sneak up behind sleeping guards. In campaign vaults some dogs carry keycards; you can lift a key from behind while sneaking.
  8. Save the smoke bomb for cameras next to doors. It blinds cameras and dogs, and you only carry a couple.

Defending tips

  1. Show only what you can protect. Pets in the nest are safe but earn nothing. Put your best pets on display only once your vault holds up.
  2. Guard the exit, not just the entrance. Thieves are noisiest on the way out.
  3. Combine plates with a camera. Plates force sneaking, a camera punishes slow movement.
  4. Use steel walls where a single drilled wall would skip your maze.
  5. Watch every replay. The thief's route shows exactly what to fix.

Questions and answers

Is Pet Heist free?

Yes. Pet Heist is free to play on Android and in the browser. There are optional purchases (a starter pack, a monthly Thief Pass, cosmetic looks and gems), but pets and chests are never sold.

Is there Pet Heist for iPhone?

An iOS app is not released yet. iPhone and iPad players can play the full game in Safari at petheist.com right now.

Do I need to download anything?

No. The browser version runs at petheist.com without a download or sign-up. On Android you can also install the free app from Google Play.

How do I keep my progress?

You start as a guest. Link your Google account or an email in the game to keep your thief safe and to play on another device. A transfer code can also move your thief to another browser.

Can I lose all my pets?

No. You can lose at most 3 pets a day, your last pet can never be stolen, and after every robbery your vault gets a shield (4 hours in Bronze and Silver, 8 hours from Gold). Pets in the nest are always safe.

How do I get a stolen pet back?

For 24 hours a stolen pet stays unsettled. Raid the thief back (the revenge raid gives bonus trophies and coins), share a rescue link with friends, or call the revenge squad with an SOS so any player can help.

What is the best pet?

Any Legendary pet: it earns 40 coins an hour at level 1, ten times a Common pet. Species does not change income. See the full pet rarity list.

How do leagues work?

You win trophies in raids against players and climb from Bronze through Silver, Gold, Crystal and Master to Legend. Seasons last 28 days; at the end, trophies above 300 are halved.

Are there promo codes?

No. Pet Heist has no promo or redeem codes, so any site offering them is not official. The real free rewards (daily calendar, free chest, invite rewards) are listed on the rewards page.

Which languages does Pet Heist support?

Thirteen: English, Russian, German, Polish, Portuguese, Spanish, Indonesian, Japanese, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, Arabic and Turkish.
