Invites v2: rewards for you and your friend, in three stages

Pet Heist is more fun when you know the thief who just took your cat. So on 11 October 2026 we rebuilt invites. Rewards now come in three stages, both players get something, and every reward is paid for your friend actually playing, not for sending a link.

How the three stages work

1. Stage 1: the first raid. When your friend finishes their first raid, you both get +100 coins. A raid they quit does not count.
2. Stage 2: a real raid. When your friend finishes a later raid, you both get +30 gems.
3. Stage 3: day three. When your friend plays on their third day, you get the Crew cape, a back item for your thief. The cape is invite-only: it is never sold and never drops from chests. You get it once. After that, each friend who reaches stage 3 gives you +150 coins instead.

Your friend's coins and gems arrive right in their raid results. Your own rewards wait for you to claim them. A small mark on the invite chip on Home tells you when something is ready.

How to invite a friend

Tap the invite chip on Home, or the invite button on the results card after a won raid, and share your link. Your friend can start in the browser at petheist.com, or install the app from Google Play. On an Android phone, the link opens a small page with both choices.

That second part is new. Before this update, an invite could get lost when your friend went from the link to the Play Store and installed the app. Now the invite survives the install, so the friend is still counted as yours when they open the app for the first time.

Track each friend

The invite sheet lists the friends who joined with your link and shows which stage each of them has reached. You can see what is locked, what is ready to claim and what you already collected.

The limits

• Your part of the reward is capped at 20 friends per stage per month. Past that, new stages that month pay nothing to you.
• Rewards are for real play only. Sharing a link, posting it or sending it to a group pays nothing by itself.

Invite links are different from promo codes. Pet Heist has no redeem codes at all. The only codes in the game are invite codes and the account transfer code, as our page on codes and free rewards explains.

What to do once your friend joins

Help them through the first hour. Point them to the beginner's guide, add them as a friend so you can raid each other, and if a thief takes one of their pets, you can bring it back with a rescue raid. Read how in our post on the revenge squad and SOS calls.
