Emotes: pet stickers for raid reactions
A raid on another player's vault used to end with a short text reaction. Since 11 October 2026 you can also send an emote: a small animated sticker with the game's pets, guards and thieves. There are 13 of them, and 8 are free from the start.
Where emotes show up
After a raid on a real player's vault, the results card shows the reaction row. The text reactions and the Like button are still there. At the end of the row there is a new smiley button. Tap it and a small tray opens above the row with your 4 equipped stickers. Tap one to send it. The sticker then takes the place of the smiley button, so you can see what you sent.
The vault owner sees your emote on the robbery card when they come back, and next to the raid in their defense log. If they take revenge, they can answer with an emote of their own. Their results card then says "Reply to" and shows the sticker you sent them.

The rules
- One emote per raid, and only within 24 hours of the raid.
- Only raids on real players count. Practice raids and friendly raids have no emotes.
- Emotes are fixed stickers. There is no free text, so nobody can send you anything rude in words.
- If you would rather not see them, turn on "Hide opponents' emotes" in Settings. Blocked players never reach you either way.
All 13 emotes and how to get them
8 free emotes are yours from the start: a paw "GG", a laughing fox, "Nice vault", a heart, a thumbs up, a crying panda, an angry cat and a sleepy dog.
3 emotes cost gems: a clapping beaver (15 gems), a shocked penguin (20 gems) and a raccoon going "shh" (30 gems). Gems come free from daily rewards, campaign objectives, chests and invites, so you never have to buy them for these. See every free reward for where gems come from.
2 emotes are rewards: an owl with a crown unlocks when you reach Gold III (550 trophies), and a party chick unlocks with an active Thief Pass. Once unlocked, they stay yours.
Pick your 4
You can equip 4 emotes at a time. The starting set is the paw "GG", the laughing fox, "Nice vault" and the heart. Open Collection from the emote tray to swap any of them for another emote you own. Pick a mix: something friendly for a close raid, something smug for revenge, something sad for a raid that went wrong.
Good manners
Emotes are part of the fun of playing against real people. A "Nice vault" after a hard raid is a small thing, but vault builders notice it. If you want to see how a raid on your vault went, watch the replay or make a raid clip from it. New to raiding real players? The tips and FAQ cover trophies and leagues, and the climb to Gold III gets you the crowned owl.
