Raid clips: share your best heist as a short video
Some raids are worth showing to someone. You slip past a guard dog with a centimetre to spare, or a thief walks straight through your laser hall and still gets out. Since 11 October 2026, Pet Heist can turn the replay of a raid into a short vertical video that you can share or save.
What a raid clip is
A raid clip is a 9:16 video made from the replay of a real raid. It is the same replay you can already watch in the game, recorded on your own device. The quiet walk between rooms is sped up, and the moments that matter play at normal speed: the pet grab, the coins, doors, gadgets, the alarm and the getaway. A short name card shows who raided whom.
One render gives you two versions. The plain version is gameplay only, for video apps. The chat version adds a short end card with a QR code and a link to the game, for sending to friends.

How to make a clip
- Win a raid on another player's vault. When the results card opens, tap Share clip.
- Or use a raid on your own vault. When someone robs you, the robbery card has a Make a clip button, so you can show how they did it. You can also make one at the end of a defense replay.
- Wait a few seconds. The game shows "Making your clip" with a progress bar. You can cancel at any time. Keep the game open: if it goes to the background, the clip stops.
- Watch the preview. When the clip is ready you see a poster frame and a looping preview. Tap it to play, pause or watch again.
- Share or save. Pick an app from the row of icons, tap Send in chat, or tap Save video. On Android the video is saved to Documents / PetHeist.
Nothing is ever posted for you. The phone's own share sheet, or the app you pick, decides what happens next. For video apps the game copies a caption you can paste into your post.
What changed in 1.3.13 and 1.3.14
Clips first shipped in Android app 1.3.12. Version 1.3.13 brought a new share sheet with app icons, your country's usual chat app first, and the QR code end card. Version 1.3.14 fixed the file itself. Clips are now written as normal MP4 files, so they play in more apps, and the ready screen shows a poster frame and a replay preview instead of a black box. A clip you made in the last day is kept, so opening it again does not render it twice.
In the browser at petheist.com, clips work where the browser can share files. Elsewhere the clip downloads as a file.
Is there a reward for sharing?
No. Making or sharing a clip gives no coins, gems or anything else, and it never will through this button. Share a clip only because the raid was fun to watch. If you want rewards for bringing friends, that is what invites are for, and they pay only when your friend actually plays.
Tips for a clip worth watching
- A clean raid with no alarm looks best. Our guide on getting three stars explains how.
- Close calls make good clips. Smoke bombs and squeak toys read well on video.
- Clips are made from won raids only. If a thief beat your vault, the clip shows exactly where your defense leaked. The trap vault guide helps you close the gap.
